Vicki & Moshe Mari

My grandmother, Vicki Mari, was a mother of five children. The sixth child was born around 1959/1960 and when he was eight months old, he had a cold and a wheezing rattled breath. She was suggested to take him to Hadassah Hospital in Tel Aviv. When my grandmother got there, they told her to come back the next day to pick him up. Because she had five more children, she went back home and came back to Hadassah Hospital after a few hours, and she was told that the baby is under observation and that she should come the following day. When she arrived the next day, she was told that the child had passed away, without a death certificate, without a body, without a grave. She returned home with the blanket. She must have known that something strange happened because she did not sit Shiv'a (the customary seven-day mourning ritual in Jewish transition).

We are convinced that the child did not pass away, since he was a generally healthy child, and it does not make sense that he died from a small cold. Since then, everyone thought he was dead, until questions started to arise, and we came to the conclusion that he was probably kidnapped. We are currently looking for him, expecting to find him. My uncle heard from several people about a man who looks exactly like him, probably named "Avi" from Be'er Sheva. A picture of the uncle is attached.
