The Yemenite, Mizrahi and Balkan Children Affair is the kidnapping and disappearance of thousands of toddlers from families of new immigrants, mostly from Yemen, but also from Iraq, Tunisia, Morocco, The Balkans and other countries, mostly in the 1950’s. The parents were told that their children had died, but they never saw a body nor grave. Decades later it became known that some of the children were given to adoption, and some – their fate was never discovered. In this archive you will be able to explore the testimonies relating to the Affair from families, people who were kidnapped themselves, and former professionals and clerks who were involved in the kidnappings.
